Explore the wilderness of Uttarakhand with our 5-day Corbett Explorer Safari Package, combining wildlife safaris in two well-known areas of Jim Corbett National Park: Dhikala and Bijrani. This 4-night, 5-day wildlife tour offers an opportunity to experience Corbett’s diverse landscapes, from the expansive grasslands and riverine habitats of Dhikala to the forests and wildlife-rich surroundings of Bijrani.

Dhikala and Bijrani are popular safari destinations within Corbett Tiger Reserve, attracting wildlife enthusiasts, photographers, and nature lovers. This Corbett Explorer itinerary combines a stay at the Forest Department-operated Dhikala Forest Lodge with accommodation at a jungle resort near Ramnagar. With scheduled morning and afternoon Jeep safaris, the tour provides multiple opportunities to explore different habitats and observe wildlife in its natural environment.

Although both areas are known for tiger habitat, tiger sightings cannot be guaranteed, as wildlife movements and sightings depend on natural conditions.

    Weather Overview in India

India experiences a wide range of climates, from the extreme heat of desert areas to the severe cold of the Himalayan regions. Here’s a quick breakdown of seasonal weather patterns across the country:

    • October to November: Mostly cloudless skies in northwest India, while Tamil Nadu receives the bulk of its annual rainfall due to the northeast monsoon.
    • December to January: The coldest months. Average temperatures in the northwest are around 10–15°C, while southern India enjoys milder temperatures around 20–25°C.
    • April to May: April marks the hottest month in western and southern India, while May is the hottest in the north, with average temperatures ranging from 32–40°C.
    • Monsoon Season: The monsoon generally begins in the last week of May or early June, gradually spreading across the country. By late September, monsoon rains recede from northern India, while southern India receives more prolonged rainfall.

    Ranthambore National Park Climate

Cold Season (December to early February): Ranthambore’s coldest months, with temperatures dropping to around 2°C. As safaris are conducted in open jeeps, we recommend layering warm clothing to stay comfortable in the cold.
