3 Days Dhikala Forest Lodge Safari Package – Jim Corbett National Park

Experience the wilderness of Jim Corbett National Park with a 3-day Dhikala Forest Lodge safari package. Located deep inside the core area of Corbett Tiger Reserve in Uttarakhand, Dhikala Forest Lodge offers wildlife enthusiasts a unique opportunity to stay within the forest landscape and explore its remarkable biodiversity.

Managed by the Forest Department, Dhikala Forest Lodge is one of the best-known accommodation options inside Corbett Tiger Reserve. Its location near extensive grasslands, dense Sal forests, and the Ramganga River makes it an exciting destination for wildlife lovers, photographers, and nature enthusiasts.

The journey to Dhikala begins at Dhangarhi Gate, the entry point for visitors travelling to the Dhikala tourism zone. From the gate, the forest road winds through beautiful woodland, grasslands, and riverine habitats. Along the way, visitors may spot herds of spotted deer, sambar, barking deer, elephants, and numerous bird species. With luck, you may also encounter a tiger or other elusive wildlife.

Our 3-day Dhikala safari tour combines a stay at the Forest Department-operated Dhikala Forest Lodge with scheduled Jeep safaris, offering an immersive experience in one of India’s most celebrated tiger habitats.

    • December to January: The coldest months. Average temperatures in the northwest are around 10–15°C, while southern India enjoys milder temperatures around 20–25°C.
    • April to May: April marks the hottest month in western and southern India, while May is the hottest in the north, with average temperatures ranging from 32–40°C.
