Ranthambore National Park is renowned globally for its tiger population and frequent sightings. It is the best place to see the Bengal Tiger. It has a Fort and many lakes in the park. Supported by varied series of flora and fauna which makes it a wonderful destination to visit. Ranthambore is prime example of project tiger’s conservation efforts.

Day 1: Arrive In Ranthambore National Park

Ranthambore National Park is known for its tigers and is one of the best places in India to see these majestic predators in the jungle. Tigers can be easily spotted even during the day time. A good time to visit Ranthambore National Park is in November till May when the nature of the dry deciduous forests makes sightings common. Its deciduous forests were once a part of the magnificent jungles of Central India.

Well known for the diurnal activity of tigers, Ranthambore is a very special and unusual area where a natural present meets a historical past. Sambar, cheetal, chinkara, nilgai langoors. Tiger and Elusive leopard are found in this reserve with tourists standing a very good chance of seeing them in broad daylight.

    Weather Overview in India

    • April to May: April marks the hottest month in western and southern India, while May is the hottest in the north, with average temperatures ranging from 32–40°C.
    • Monsoon Season: The monsoon generally begins in the last week of May or early June, gradually spreading across the country. By late September, monsoon rains recede from northern India, while southern India receives more prolonged rainfall.

    Ranthambore National Park Climate

    Cold Season (December to early February): Ranthambore’s coldest months, with temperatures dropping to around 2°C. As safaris are conducted in open jeeps, we recommend layering warm clothing to stay comfortable in the cold. This layering allows you to easily adjust to both your activity level and changing weather conditions.
