Booking Requirements

  • We require the name and Passport number of each visitor (Foreign/Indian) to book the Safari.
  • For Indian Nationals, the name and ID details of everyone traveling is essential at the time of the Safari booking.
  • Other details required at the time of booking are the date, time and kind of safari.
  • To confirm the Safari, the visitors must make an advance payment, which is non-refundable and non-adjustable.
  • It is difficult to get Jeeps at Ranthambhore, as Limited Jeeps & Canters  are allowed to go inside the park during any given safari,
  • only 6 guests per Jeep – the rest of the guests need to visit the Ranthambore Park by the Canters.
  • The entire safari is subject to availability and is on first come first serve basis.
  • The Forest Department charges the full advance payment for the Safari Jeeps, Park entry fee, pax entry fee, and naturalist Services.
  • Vehicles are released by the Forest Department only after full advance payment is received.
  • No refund/cancellation or transferring is permitted after reservation is confirmed.
  • Subsequent changes in entrance fees or government taxes will be extra and will have to be borne by the Guest or Travel Agent.
  • Any changes in policies by the Ranthambhore Park authorities will be intimated to visitors and will be applicable for all future bookings.

Important Booking Information

  • Safari permits are issued strictly on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability.
  • Safari booking should be made up to 90 days in advance.

Booking Terms & Conditions

  • The Government of Rajasthan reserves the right of admission within the park.
  • The park may be closed without prior notice to visitors.
  • Once the booking is confirmed, no refund/cancellation is permissible.
  • Seats reserved cannot be exchanged with or resold to other visitors
  • Providing ID proof is essential to enter the Park.
  • At the time of entry, visitors are liable to pay any difference in costs of ticket and/or accessories than at the time of booking.
  • Reporting for boarding the canter/gypsy at least 15 minutes prior to the scheduled departure time at the designated place is expected from each visitor.

Rules for Photography Equipment –

  • There is no charge for still cameras.
  • PCam, DCAm and VCam charges are to be paid as per current rules laid down by Tourism/Forest Department policies.

    Cold Season (December to early February): Ranthambore’s coldest months, with temperatures dropping to around 2°C. As safaris are conducted in open jeeps, we recommend layering warm clothing to stay comfortable in the cold. This layering allows you to easily adjust to both your activity level and changing weather conditions.
